BUFFALO, N.Y. — Adam Mair, a former Buffalo Sabres player who now works as the team’s director of player development, was arrested for drunk driving near Rochester, according to court records.
Mair, 46, faces Leandra’s Law charges because three children were in the car when it allegedly rear-ended another vehicle in Pittsford, a Rochester suburb, on Sept. 4.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office charged Mair with three felonies and three misdemeanors, including aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle and endangering the welfare of a child.
At 4:30 p.m., police records state that sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a car crash at Clover Street near Tobey Road in Pittsford when they came upon Mair’s BMW.
