For the first time in my life I am ashamed to be a U.S. Navy veteran. Watching the Navy commit its first act of piracy on the high sea in its 250-year history filled me with shame. The Captain and everyone on board is guilty of both piracy and murder. Nuremberg set the precedent that just following orders does not absolve military personnel for committing criminal acts.
It is so hard for me to accept that Naval personnel could became what they used to fight against. The pirates of the Caribbean are now know as the U.S. Navy.
