Nate Bargatze is ready to cut a big check.
If the 2025 Emmy winners can keep their speeches concise, that is. The comedian, who will emcee the Sept. 14 ceremony on CBS, even revealed his plan to speed up those on-stage acceptances and keep this year’s broadcast within the three-hour timeslot.
“Everybody gets 45 seconds to do all the thank yous,” Nate—who is making his hosting debut at the ceremony—said on Jimmy Kimmel Live ’s Sept. 10 episode. “So, what I came up with is I’m gonna donate $100,000 to the Boys & Girls Club. That’s what the show’s starting out with. Everybody does their 45 seconds. If someone goes over, we take away $1,000 a second. I know it’s tough. If you go under, we will put $1,000 back on so you can give it back.”
