Police in Fort Worth, Texas, are actively searching for the driver of a black SUV involved in a hit-and-run incident that injured eight-year-old Liam Park last Friday (September 5). According to Fox News , the driver struck Liam while he was riding his bike at the Mercantile Square apartment complex , briefly exited the vehicle to assess the situation, and then fled the scene without offering assistance.

Liam, a third-grader, suffered severe abrasions but miraculously avoided any broken bones. He was taken to the hospital and has since been released, though he continues to experience pain and emotional distress. His mother, Baylea Christiansen , expressed her frustration , stating, "My kid was left to be helped by a bunch of other kids in the street," as reported by KTVT .
