GALLOWAY TWP., N.J. (WPHL) -- Stockton University is currently under a shelter-in-place order after a shooting near its campus on Thursday afternoon.

According to the Galloway Township Police Department, a shooting happened just before 1 p.m. on W. Jimmie Leeds Road near Redwood Avenue. One person was hurt and taken to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center City Division for treatment.

In an alert, Stockton University said the suspect vehicle is a white Honda CR-V. The alert also said Galloway Township Police are looking for two suspects, and the suspect passenger is a white male with a green shirt and long blond hair.

Stockton University is asking those on campus to continue sheltering in place until Stockton Police issues an all-clear.
