JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — A 91-year-old pedestrian has suffered critical injuries after being struck by a car in Janesville early Thursday.
According to the Janesville Police Department, the victim was walking near a business parking lot in the 300 block of W. Delavan Drive around 7:30 a.m. when they were struck by a vehicle leaving the business.
Police said the victim was taken to Mercy Hospital and then airlifted to UW Hospital for treatment. Their current condition is unknown
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities, police said.
No charges have yet been filed and the incident is still under investigation.
