Emmerdale viewers have been asking the same question as the aftermath of John Sugden and Aaron Dingle's cliff plunge starts to unfold

Emmerdale fans have been left scratching their heads over a missing detail as Aaron Dingle (played by Danny Miller) fights for his life in hospital. ‌

During Wednesday's episode of the ITV soap (10th September), Aaron and his husband John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) were rushed to hospital after John pulled them both over the edge of a cliff. Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) screamed for help after trying to assist John and Aaron at the bottom of the verge. ‌

Twisted paramedic John, who arrived in the Dales last year as the estranged half-brother of Robert, has killed Nate Robinson and then framed troubled patient Owen for his murder. ‌
