NAGS HEAD, N.C. (WITN) - A catamaran that capsized last week off Virginia Beach washed up on the Outer Banks this morning.

Nags Head officials say the 26-foot boat was spotted around 7:20 a.m. near the 400 block of South Virginia Dare Trail.

The U.S. Coast Guard confirmed it was the same boat where two men were rescued last Thursday after it capsized off Cape Henry.

Nags Head police contacted the owner, who is working with his insurance company to have it removed from the beach.
