The United Way Perth-Huron is getting set to launch its 2025-26 fundraising campaign next week.
The charity’s official campaign announcement begins at 12:20 p.m on Sept. 19. Residents are invited to come together in support of local programs and services that make a difference across Perth and Huron counties.
“This is a moment to share with the people of Stratford how their support helps power (the United Way’s) work in support of vulnerable people,” said John Wolfe, the campaign co-chair. “We’re looking forward to launching our 2025-26 campaign and invite everyone to join us.”
While the fundraising goal has not yet been released, the 2024-2025 campaign raised $2.8 million, which surpassed the charity’s original goal by roughly $200,000 and was the largest ever amount raised locally, ex
