HOUSTON – TxDOT says multiple main lanes of I-610, as well as lanes of the frontage road, are blocked after an 18-wheeler overturned and lost its load Thursday.

The incident happened in the northbound lanes of I-610 W. at Beechnut Street.

Photos from the scene appear to show debris from the 18-wheeler which has also fallen onto the frontage road, leading to lane closures.

TxDOT said the cleanup is expected to take several hours.

Drivers should expect delays if in the area.
