(WHTM)-- An Amazon employee has been charged after allegedly stealing more than $50,000 worth of merchandise from a Pennsylvania distribution center.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced that Nilson Peralta Rodriguez, 27, has been charged with felony corrupt organizations, organized retail theft, and related offenses in connection with the thefts.
Rodriguez was allegedly caught this week stealing 34 gaming memory sticks from a facility in Bethel, Pennsylvania, per the AG's office. Investigators said he was caught leaving the facility with the sticks hidden in his work helmet.
An investigation into the incident would uncover that he also allegedly stole 35 computer tablets and other electronics during his recent shifts.
Rodriguez was also accused of selling the stolen mer
