LONG BEACH — At 3-0, the Wilson football team is only undefeated Moore League team in nonleague play.
“It feels great to have goals and ambitions and to see these come to fruition and moving in the right direction,” Wilson football coach Raudric Curtis said. “See the kids are bought in. The community is bought in and I just couldn’t have hoped for a better start.”
The Bruins will host Dana Hills (3-0) Friday and will look to go undefeated in nonleague play for the first time since 2019.
Wilson will have a bye before kicking off Moore League play at Millikan on Sept. 26.
“4-0 would mean that there’s a little chill going down the spine of everybody else who has us on the schedule where they’re kind of looking for the shoe the drop,” Curtis continued. “They’re looking for us to show some
