Mike Lombardo is an owner and said it's fun work.

"I love it, otherwise I wouldn't be doing it," he said. "Started this business in 2002 out of our house. We had a house on Brendenwood in Rockford. We worked out of there for a couple of years. We just busted at the seams, and now we are here. We've got a little over 55-hundred square feet."

He said they embrace any challenging project that comes their way.

"It could be anything and somehow it comes together because we have such a great team. It's just amazing. Every project is different," he said.

Among his employees are his wife and kids. Colorwave Graphics truly is a family affair.
