Gov. Kay Ivey has addressed education leaders about how to best shape the future of education in Alabama.

The Cognia Alabama IMPACT Conference brought education leaders and stakeholders from across the state together to focus on student achievement, innovation and school improvement.

Gov. Ivey’s participation highlights the state’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Alabama’s education system and support educators working to improve outcomes for students.

“Y’all aren’t thrilled at the progress that we are making,” Gov. Ivey told the conference. “Let’s keep giving our best because our children deserve the best. Thank you, thank you for all you do to ensure every child has access to a top quality education.”
