MILWAUKEE, Wis. ( WISN ) - One month after the historic flood in Wisconsin, President Donald Trump approved $29.8 million in federal disaster assistance for the August storm and flood recovery efforts.
The aid comes as Milwaukee officials continue addressing the aftermath, including issuing home demolition orders in areas severely impacted by the historic rainfall.
Local authorities have been working to assess and respond to infrastructure damage across affected regions.
