SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - New housing is coming soon to the East Bank in South Bend.

The second phase of The Cascade riverfront condominium development is scheduled to break ground on Friday morning.

The project includes an eight-story condo tower to add to the existing Cascade living space.

This brings high-end living to the city with an East Bank view, floor-to-ceiling windows, rooftop amenities and more.

The project is expected to be done by 2027.

“The Cascade is a different type of living experience,” says Thomas Panzica, president of Panzica Building Corporation. “It’s sort of a big condo living experience coming to the South Bend market. We call it ‘Next Level Living’ because we are at such an amazing site.”
