A Florida man accused of fatally shooting his sister after she reportedly kicked him out of their mother's house may face the death penalty if he is convicted.
Pedro Pablo Linares, 57, was arrested in July, months after he allegedly shot and killed his sister, 60-year-old Beatriz Linares-Calamita, at her workplace in Miami. According to an arrest warrant reviewed by Law&Crime, Linares-Calamita evicted her brother from their mother's home "due to his lack of care or financial contribution" to the household. After the eviction, Linares allegedly started showing up at his sister's home unannounced.
On April 4, he allegedly showed up to her place of work, where he was caught on camera shooting her multiple times before running away.
