Those who want to talk to a FEMA representative in person about aid for the June floods in Ohio County will have until Sept. 19 to do it.

According to a FEMA news release, the Ohio County Disaster Recovery Center at the Triadelphia Community Center at 4453 National Road will close permanently at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19. The center in Marion County, an area also affected by floods that weekend, will close permanently Friday, Sept. 12.

Those affected by the June flash floods will still be able to register with FEMA until Monday, Sept. 22, but will have to do so over the phone at 1-800-621-3362 or online at DisasterAssistance.gov.
