Coming off a regular season in which the Merchants set team records for wins (34) and points (68), the Provincial Junior Hockey League club fell short in the playoffs. “It took a little while to get over, I won’t lie,” head coach Derek Partlo said. “To get back and start fresh this year is something I was looking forward to.”
