A heavy police presence could be seen at Archbishop Jordan Catholic High School in Sherwood Park Thursday afternoon.

Mounties responded to the school on Emerald Drive after receiving a weapons complaint.

One person has been taken into custody, and police note that no injuries have been reported and there is no indication of any further threat.

The RCMP is asking everyone to stay away from the school while their investigation is ongoing.
