LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) is closing five more of its residential treatment centers.

The closed facilities are:

Lackey (Louisa)

Karen’s Place (Louisa)

Hazel Hills (Owingsville)

May Hill (Louisa)

Lydia’s House (Benham)

Dozens of people lost their jobs as a result.

In a statement, an ARC spokesperson said that “these decisions were not made lightly, and we are dedicated to supporting our team members and communities affected by these changes.”

In October 2024, ARC announced the temporary closure of four different facilities . No reopening date has been announced for these facilities.
