OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEVV) — Daviess County Fiscal Court is organizing a Tox Away Day for residents to safely dispose of hazardous household waste.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 27th, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Daviess County Operations Center, located at 2620 Kentucky Highway 81 in Owensboro. Participation is free for Daviess County residents.

Residents can bring items like vehicle batteries, used motor oil, and oil-based paints. However, items such as appliances, ammunition, and medical waste are not accepted.
