With a focus on the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, President Donald Trump’s "border czar" Tom Homan was back in the city on Tuesday.
“Every member of TDA should be on the run because the Trump administration is committed to removing every single member of TDA and MS-13," Homan said.
His last-minute visit was to join city officials to announce the arrests of nearly 30 alleged gang members.
The arrests come one day after a state judge blocked the Adams administration from allowing federal immigration agents back onto Rikers Island.
“Work with us, give us access to the person you locked in a jail cell cause they’re obviously a public safety threat. That’s all we're asking." Homan said.
The press conference served as a springboard for Mayor Eric Adams and Homan to push their immigration
