Last weekend’s loss to the Oklahoma Sooners was eye-opening for the Michigan Wolverines. While the offense certainly looked improved in Week 1, the unit struggled mightily on the road against a high-quality opponent. Now, they look to bounce back against the Central Michigan Chippewas.
For all intents and purposes, this game should not be close. The Wolverines are 27.5-point favorites at home. But true freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood has never had to respond to a loss at the collegiate level, and Michigan will be without head coach Sherrone Moore as he serves a suspension the next two games.
