Henry Cavill ‘s Highlander , which was set to go into principal photography this month, will now be pushed into 2026 after the actor sustained an injury during pre-production, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
The type of injury was unclear, but the project had been putting the final pieces on its sprawling cast as it barrelled towards production in the coming weeks. It is now aiming to film at the top of next year.
Chad Stahelski is at the helm of the long-gestating project, which the filmmaker has been developing for nearly a decade. It spent years at Lionsgate before moving to Amazon MGM Studios.
