CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio —

Twenty-seven people have been arrested in Clermont County after the sheriff’s office conducted an operation aimed at locating fugitives.

The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office said Operation Clean Sweep resulted in 55 warrant attempts and 27 people taken into custody. Advertisement

The sheriff’s office said the charges for the people arrested include drug trafficking, possession of controlled substances and probation violations.

Clermont County deputies were assisted by the Clermont County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Task Force and Clermont County SWAT, among other agencies.
