Detroit Lions rookie receiver Isaac TeSlaa has impressed early on with his catches, athleticism and route running.

But the team's third-round pick in the 2025 draft needed a different lesson in route-running from team captain Amon-Ra St. Brown — one that re-routed him to the snack isle at the grocery store.

It's traditional rookie hazing, the Lions ' rookies getting snacks and other groceries for veterans during training camp and throughout the season. St. Brown remembers it well from his rookie season in 2021, and he recently figured he would hand a list of snacks to the rookie TeSlaa to get as part of his initiation.
