CARLSBAD, Calif. (FOX5/KUSI)-- This Halloween, LEGOLAND California is encouraging visitors to ditch the "tricks" in trick-or-treating and instead immerse themselves in the park's Brick-or-Treat celebration, highlighted with the debut of its massive Halloween Tree.
Made from 680,963 LEGO bricks, the 17-foot-tall tree is the park's largest LEGO creation by brick count and took over 4,000 hours to build. Assembled by five Master Model Builders, the structure is 12 feet wide and can spook patrons by following them with its moving eyes and eyebrows as they enter the park.
