The Seattle Seahawks could be without cornerback Devon Witherspoon against the Pittsburgh Steelers . Witherspoon was a surprise addition to the Seahawks injury report on Wednesday and did not practice with a knee injury.

Witherspoon is the team’s star cornerback, and he routinely shadows No. 1 wide receivers. This becomes even more paramount when considering the struggles of Riq Woolen opposite of him.

With DK Metcalf on the table for the Seahawks, they would likely have Witherspoon on him at all times, but if he can not play, that would open things up for the Steelers to attack the defensive backs at a higher clip.
