FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A Global War on Terrorism memorial was dedicated at the Veterans National Memorial Shrine and Museum on Thursday.

Community members gathered at the organization’s O’ Day Road location at 4 p.m. for the ceremony.

The memorial honors ‘all those who fought in both Middle East wars’.

It is made of Indiana limestone and features three separate sections: the Global War on Terrorism in the center, flanked by Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom monuments.
