Ange Postecoglou recalled his shock response to being sacked by Tottenham in his first press conference as Nottingham Forest boss.

Postecoglou was appointed at the City Ground on Tuesday, replacing Nuno Espirito Santo in the hotseat as head coach.

The Australian has returned to management three months on from his dismissal at Spurs.

The decision followed their Europa League triumph, which ended a 17-year wait for silverware in north London.

Ahead of his Forest debut against Arsenal, which is live on talkSPORT on Saturday, Postecoglou detailed his surprise with the Spurs verdict.
