The Crown Point Community Library’s budgetary appropriations, including nearly $15,000 for safety upgrades, were approved by the Lake County Council Tuesday.
Julie Wendorf, director of the Crown Point Community Library, presented the council last week with three budgetary appropriations: $197,500 from the library’s rainy day fund, $35,589 from the Library Improvement Reserve Fund, and $14,438 from the library’s excess welfare distribution fund.
Wendorf said she appreciates the approval of the appropriations.
“I am thankful that each project received approval, allowing the library to move forward with implementation,” Wendorf said.
