ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA), a Virginia-based national security analytics firm, will invest nearly $47 million to expand its operations in Northern Virginia, Gov. Glenn Youngkin and local leaders announced Wednesday. The move is expected to create more than 1,200 new jobs across the City of Alexandria and Fairfax County over the next five years.
The expansion includes the purchase and renovation of a state-of-the-art headquarters building in Alexandria, where SPA plans to add 494 new positions. The company will also grow its presence in Fairfax County, expanding operations at its current Chantilly location and exploring additional sites to support 714 new jobs.
“In Northern Virginia, SPA is expanding their operations at the speed of Virginia,” said Youngkin. “The
