OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — One person died Thursday afternoon in a crash in Ottawa County, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office (OCSO).
OCSO said the crash occurred just before 2 p.m. when a Chevrolet pickup truck pulling a double axle utility trailer pulled into the pathway of a 2002 Honda Civic.
The truck was traveling north on 104th Ave. while the Honda was traveling westbound on Quincy Ave.
The impact of the crash caused the pickup and its trailer to roll over.
One person in the truck was pinned inside, injured and had to be extricated. The driver of the truck died from their injuries.
There was a passenger in the Honda, both they and the driver were brought to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
