Target announces dates for car seat trade

( KCTV /Gray News) - Target announced its car seat trade-in program will return to stores starting later this month.

Customers can trade in an old, expired, or damaged car seat in exchange for a 20% off Target Circle Bonus.

The discount can be used on a new car seat or other baby gear.

Eligible brands and supplies include:

Graco

Evenflo

Cloud Island

up&up

nursery

apparel

food

toys

postpartum care

The trade-in program runs from Sept. 21 through Oct. 4.

Target started the program in 2016. The company states that it has recycled more than 3.5 million car seats as a result of the event.
