MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - An 18-year-old behind bars at the Shelby County Jail is accused of being responsible for a drive-by shooting three days ago that left a woman fighting for her life.
Stephan Maclin is charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, seven counts of reckless endangerment, and two counts of motor vehicle theft.
Arrest documents from Memphis police allege that Maclin was the triggerman behind a drive-by in a Whitehaven neighborhood Monday morning.
Officers responded to the scene in the 3600 block of Huckleberry Street at 7:35 a.m.
The affidavit says a woman pulled up to the home to pick up her boyfriend and take him to school.
