COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. (WKRN) — There’s debate in Williamson County over whether to upgrade the Lions Club Park in College Grove, a public park in one of the fastest growing areas of the county.
According to the Williamson County Commission, the park was built about 60 years ago and was later purchased by the county in the early 2000s, but the county hasn't upgraded it since.
"My sons played on those ball fields 25 years ago, and it's exactly the same as it was 25 years ago; it hasn't changed one bit,” Williamson County Commissioner Judy Herbert said at Monday night’s meeting.
