ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A woman was killed in a hit-and-run car crash in northwest Atlanta, according to police.
Police said officers responded to Northside Parkway NW and Mount Paran Road NW just before 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 1. There, they found a Toyota Prius with a 23-year-old man, 25-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman. All three were taken to the hospital. The woman later died of her injuries.
According to police, they also found an abandoned Hyundai Elantra at the scene. Investigation indicates that the Elantra was traveling west on Northside Parkway NW when the driver lost control and hit the Prius.
