We are tracking hot weather through the weekend and into next week. If you like temperatures in the mid to upper 90s, more of this weather is on the way. Along with the heat, dry weather is expected as high pressure continues to dominate the weather across the region. We are not expecting record heat, but it will be hot for this time of year. Take all the necessary precautions for you and your family if you have events, especially sporting events, outdoors. We are also monitoring the tropics and as of now there is an area of interest in the central Atlantic, but this area of interest is not a threat to the United States.

Tonight, expect a clear sky with warm conditions. Temperatures will lower to the low 70s.

Friday will bring sunshine and heat, with temperatures in the mid to upper 90s.
