JACKSONVILLE, Ark. — We all know college is expensive these days, so you need to start saving for it well in advance.

In order to help them be prepared, the community is stepping up to help elementary students in the Jacksonville North Pulaski School District.

Tempus Realty Partners launched a first-of-its-kind savings program for students and educators at Murrell Taylor Elementary on Thursday morning.

This school year, Tempus is investing $600 for every student in kindergarten through 5th grade, as well as their direct teachers, principal, and assistant principal.

CEO of Tempus Realty Partners, Dan Andrews, explained that anything they can use a 529 account for is what they can use the money for in the future.
