DONELSON, Tenn. (WKRN) — Residents in Donelson have been eagerly awaiting new businesses in the area, and the opening of The Red Door Saloon marks a milestone in the neighborhood’s ongoing transformation.

For residents like Darren Williams, the arrival of new businesses is a sign that the community is coming together.

Chase Sanders, another local, has watched the saloon being built for months since he lives right across the street: “I’ve been watching it being built for the past eight or nine months, so it’s great to see the Donelson area getting some more restaurants and bars.”

The Red Door Saloon, which opened its third Tennessee location in Donelson, drew a crowd of eager customers on its first day.
