SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - High pressure will continue to dominate our weather for at least the next week bringing more hot, dry and sunny conditions.

Another quiet night ahead with clear skies, light winds and temperatures falling into the upper 60s and low 70s.

Abundant sunshine will continue through Friday and into the upcoming weekend. Temperatures will continue to be above average with highs soaring into the mid and upper 90s each day through the weekend. Overnight lows will also remain warm with readings in the low 70s.

Looking ahead to next week, there is still no change in the pattern with hot and dry conditions continuing across the entire ArkLaTex.
