LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A mother and daughter from Saline County could be spending decades in prison after an evening that led to four overdoses and a death.
On Wednesday, a news release stated that a jury convicted 62-year-old April Adams and her daughter, 38-year-old Amber Church, of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl that caused a death.
The Jury also charged Adams with the distribution of methamphetamine and Church with the distribution of fentanyl.
Officials said that both face a minimum sentence of 20 years in federal prison on the fentanyl charges related to the death, with Adams also facing a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years on the methamphetamine charge.
