The Mesa City Council voted 7-0 on Sept. 8 to hold a public hearing Sept. 22 at 5:15 p.m. in the Mesa Council Chambers for rezoning for a proposed 137-unit residential development.

The council is to vote on an ordinance to rezone 3.3 acres from multiple residence-4 and 3.7 acres from multiple residential-4 with a planned area development overlay to multiple residence-4 with a new planned area development overly.

According to council documents, the name of the development is 4062 E. Main and the project is 1,600 feet west of the northwest corner of East Main Street and North Greenfield Road.

The site plan for 4062 E. Main is a 137-unit attached single-residence development. The rezoning request was made by Tim Boyle on behalf of site owner Dolly Varden LLC.
