RICHMOND — Nobody's ever said they're a rowdy or rude bunch, but a new House of Delegates panel will write some basic standards for how members of the body should treat one another.
The aim of the new Select Committee on Standards of Conduct is to write something like the handbooks and guidelines that human resources offices in the private sector and other branches of state government produce.
“Virginians expect us to lead by example, and that starts with ensuring their House is a place of integrity and respect,” said Speaker Don Scott , D-Portsmouth.
