The Dallas Cowboys began their 2025 season with a tough loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sept. 4, and CeeDee Lamb took the result particularly hard.

Lamb dropped multiple passes in the Cowboys' 24-20 road loss against the Eagles in Week 1. Two of the drops came in the fourth quarter, with one costing Dallas on what could have been a game-winning drive. Quarterback Dak Prescott threw a perfect strike to Lamb over the middle of the field that hit the Pro Bowl wideout right in the hands, but Lamb couldn't hold onto it.

On Friday, Lamb told reporters that he had trouble sleeping because of his performance against Philadelphia.

"I wouldn’t rather nobody else but myself be in those situations. I came up short once. We’ll see the rest. Trust me, I’ve thought about it, I’ve dwelled on it,
