Aaron Judge tied Joe DiMaggio on the Yankees’ all-time home run list by going deep his first two times up against the Tigers on Thursday night.

Judge hit solo home runs in the first and third innings to give him 46 this season and 361 in his career. Judge recently passed Yogi Berra for fifth place on the Yankees’ list with home run No. 359.

Judge’s first home run off lefthanded opener Tyler Holton came on a 3-and-2 pitch and traveled 413 feet into the Tigers bullpen in left-centerfield. It gave the Yankees a 1-0 lead.

Judge’s second home run off righthander Sawyer Gipson-Long came on a 1-and-0 pitch and traveled 434 feet into the Tigers bullpen. It gave the Yankees a 4-1 lead. Giancarlo Stanton followed one batter later with a solo home run.
