Talk about a birthday disaster.

What was supposed to be an innocent birthday candle blowout — turned into a terrifying pyro moment.

Askin Acar excitedly gathered around his birthday cake to blow out his candles and make a wish. As family and friends lit what they thought were cake sparklers, they shockingly turned out to be fireworks.

Within seconds, chaos erupted — and partygoers ran screaming as flames shot wildly into the air.

“At first I was shocked, me and my brother both,” Askin told NeedToKnow. 3

“It felt a bit like a dream because I was not even thinking anymore, my body just reacted on its own like in a movie scene.”

The birthday boy laughs at the incident now but at the time, he was “really freaking out.” 3
