Commanders defensive lineman Deatrich Wise Jr. was carted off in the second quarter of Thursday’s game between Washington and the Packers.
Wise, 31, was injured during a Packers extra point attempt that sent him to the ground in pain as his teammates gathered around him with concern.
He was trying to get through the line to block the attempt when a Packers player was being pushed by another Commanders player and inadvertently fell onto the right leg of Wise.
Former Arkansas Razorback Deatrich Wise Jr. clearly upset and in pain as his leg was rolled on…WPS forever man, hope you heal up!! #WPS #Deatrichwise pic.twitter.com/tleGSGjSCD — Tanner Phifer (@TannerPhifer) September 12, 2025
