COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Multiple Columbus Police Department vehicles are near 13th Street and Veterans Parkway in Columbus.

Yellow police tape can be seen in front of Zelmo’s Zip In (Liberty gas station) located on Veterans Parkway. According to our crews, the tape extends to Shark’s Fish & Chicken restaurant, and there are at least four shell casings on the scene from a gun.

No word yet from officials on the reason for the presence.
